Drawings, African mother and child

These drawings, which I call "Reflections" (part of a series) pretty much sum up two imaginal obsessions I've had lately: an African mother and child, and the back of a man. Why them? You put the figures in different contexts and the expression and mood change. The man who appears to be in a hall of mirrors or -- switching the drawing sideways -- he is in a glass tunnel.     Or maybe in the spectacular Berlin museum designed by Mies van der Rohe?

And the mother and child being gazed upon by the same man...
